Privacy Policy

1. Local-First Browser Processing
For tools that process data locally, selected files and entered text are handled directly inside your web browser rather than uploaded to our application servers. All calculations, formatting, image manipulations, and transformations occur in your device's local memory using modern browser Web APIs (such as HTML5 Canvas, FileReader, and the Web Cryptography API).
This local handling applies to the files you select, the passwords you generate, and the text you input into our utilities. This does not include information you choose to submit through our contact form or information processed as part of ordinary website hosting, security, analytics, or advertising services.
2. Information We Collect or Process
Tools Cabinet does not require user registration, login accounts, or profile creation to use any of our 25 tools. We categorize information handling as follows:
- Tool Input Data: Processed in client browser memory. We do not store, inspect, or retain the text you paste, images you compress or crop, or calculations you perform.
- Contact Form Submissions: If you voluntarily reach out through our Contact page, we collect the details you provide (name, email address, inquiry topic, subject, and message) solely to review your request, respond to your inquiry, or resolve reported technical issues.
- Browser Preferences: Your selected interface theme (Light or Dark mode) is stored locally on your own device using
localStorage. This information remains on your browser and is never transmitted to our servers. - Hosting and Infrastructure Logs: Like virtually all websites, our hosting provider (such as Cloudflare) automatically processes standard HTTP request metadata (such as IP addresses, browser user-agent, referrers, and requested file paths) to deliver static assets, protect against DDoS attacks, and ensure site reliability.
3. Cookies & Future Advertising Disclosure
Tools Cabinet does not use persistent tracking cookies for core tool operations.
To support the ongoing maintenance and development of free utilities, we may display third-party advertisements in the future (such as through Google AdSense). When advertising is active, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or device identifiers to serve ads based on prior visits to this or other websites and to measure advertising performance.
You can learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services by visiting Google Advertising Privacy & Terms. Visitors may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting AboutAds Choices or Google Ads Settings.
4. Verification and Privacy Choices
Because tools operate inside your browser, you can inspect network activity during tool usage at any time by opening your browser's Developer Tools (F12) and viewing the Network panel. You will observe that tool transformations run locally without transmitting your content to external APIs.
You may clear your browser cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings.
5. Contact Us
If you have any questions or concerns regarding this Privacy Policy or how your data is handled, please contact us by email at support@tools-cabinet.com or submit a message through our Contact page.
